OEM Account Manager, Tony Carter
January 16, 2018, Manassas, VA – SHIBUYA HOPPMANN CORPORATION, a member of the Shibuya Group and an industry-leading manufacturer of customized automation systems machinery, announces the hiring of Tony Carter as OEM Account Manager.
Tony’s responsibilities will include managing and providing support to Shibuya Hoppmann’s current and future OEM distributor account base, building and assisting Shibuya Hoppmann OEMs and providing applications guidance to our OEMs throughout the United States and internationally. As OEM Manager, Tony will be based in our sales office located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Tony’s years of experience in industrial sales and customer service granted him an all-around knowledge of the packaging automation industry to help identify issues and present possible solutions. Tony formerly worked at Kirby Risk Inc. as an inside industrial sales representative. During his time there, he managed sales and support for the Allen Bradley and Rockwell Automation product line, Leeson gear, and Baldor motors. Tony worked hand in hand with Rockwell engineers to better service their customers. Tony said, “I was able to gain knowledge about motor control, PLC’s, motors, and gear reducers which has been a huge benefit in choosing this career path.“
