Immediate opening in our Madison Heights facility for an experienced Electrical Technician (day shift).

Electrical Technician Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate will use their mechanical and electrical experience to manufacture and assist in manufacturing parts sorting systems, and rotary turret assembly systems
  • They will assemble mechanical components and electrical devices (including basic low voltage wiring) per drawing
  • The candidate will assist to clean and prep all equipment scheduled for shipment to our customers
  • The candidate will be 100% responsible for their work area, in addition, they will help keep the general work area clean and safe
  • Safety and quality of finished goods is mandatory
  • A cross functional team member that may be called upon to fabricate electrical wiring / panel / instruments using basic electrical knowledge
  • Working from schematics under supervision, and or engineering direction
  • Must be able to execute a finished piece independent of close supervision
  • Work closely with engineering / and supervisor to ensure proper and smooth assembly of product
  • Act with safety, quality and efficiency

 

Electrical Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent                                      
  • Journeyman license or equivalent desired              
  • Three to Five years of experience                             
  • Able to read / understand control circuits                          
  • Experienced in electrical panel assembly
  • Experienced in electrical conduit and pulling wire per NFPA70                           
  • Understand AC / DC concepts                                  
  • PLC knowledge a plus                             
  • Detail oriented                                
  • Reliable, dependable, flexible                                  
  • Ability to work in team environment with minimal / no supervision
  • Experience reading electrical schematics and follow applicable standards- UL508A, NFPA79, NEC, etc.
