The Shibuya Hoppmann series elevating prefeeder has a hopper capacity that can range from 4 cubic feet (EP-04 Prefeeder) to 50 cubic feet (EP-50 Prefeeder). They are designed to handle a wide range of product sizes and shapes, and effectively meter product form the floor level up to a varying height for unscrambling, assembly, or other application needs. The cleated elevating belt pulls product from the hopper well and carries it up and into the discharge chute. An optional “dump” door on the hopper allows for quick and easy product evacuation when completing changeover processes or for annual cleaning. Upgrades are available to accommodate many food and pharmaceutical applications as well. The elevating prefeeders belt speeds vary based on customer requirements.
