Lower Production Costs with Aseptic Filling

The demand for aseptically packaged products is constantly growing. Everyone wants to lower their production costs while minimizing their impact on the environment. We can help you do that.

What is aseptic filling and what are its commercial advantages?  Click here for our White Paper on Aseptic Filling!

Our Aseptic PET/HDPE Filling System is the first aseptic rotary system approved by the FDA. It can lower your production costs by utilizing thinner wall containers while maintaining aseptic conditions up to an industry leading 156 hours, minimizing system downtime.

Aseptic Filling Systems differ from conventional filling systems by keeping the entire process in a sterilized chamber. This reduces the risk of contamination in your product. It also uses ambient fill temperatures that allow for the use of thinner containers resulting in lower environmental impact and production costs. The product is filled in an aseptic chamber, in turn, extending the product shelf life and eliminating the need for refrigeration, therefore, not requiring cold distribution channels.

Aseptic Electron Beam Rotary Filler System

We are excited to introduce our Electron Beam technology and the environmental impact it will have in the industry. Chemicals and water are not required for the EB sterilization of PET bottles leading to huge cost savings and a sustainable technology. This system is designed to eliminate microorganisms on all surfaces of PET bottles through irradiation with a beam of high-energy electrons. The injection of accelerated electrons onto the PET bottles has provided highly reliable and effective sterilization results.

Advantages over conventional sterilization methods:

  • Reduction of CO2 emissions
  • Water not required for sterilization
  • Reduction of running costs
  • Smaller footprint

Versatile Modular Bottling System

Shibuya Hoppmann's new generation bottling system offers ultimate flexibility with compact footprint. System is based upon an adjustable "V" block gripper conveyor to contain and transport bottles during filling operations. Modular units perform various functions such as robotic bottle placement in and out of conveyor, filling, servo-capping modules for screw caps or pumps. Changeover can be as little as 5 minutes by a single operator when running the same cap on a different size or shape bottle. Modular design allows future expansion of line capability. Output rate varies by fill volume (60 bpm for 500ml bottle) up to 160 bpm for smaller size bottles. Optional modules available include Air Rinse, CIP, Auto size changeover, as well as other capping styles such as press on and plug. This system is ideally suited for filling operations requiring multiple bottle, formula, and closure style changes, or Contract Packagers who require the ultimate in line flexibility.
